Pilots

Escort boats are neither commercially nor financially connected to SwimÖresund, they are run independently.

The price for an escort vessel is around DKK 15,000 including taxes (2025). The fee covers an escort vessel (RIB boat, 6m.) with a skipper for the crossing attempt from Denmark to/or Sweden and the return journey for you and your team. You will need to pay a deposit. This deposit is not refundable. When and how the remaining amount must be settled must be agreed between you and the escort boat.

Permission for Strait of Öresund are the sole discretion of SwimÖresund and Pilots. For more information, please read THE REGISTRATION INFO.

All applications must satify SwimÖresund and Pilots of their competence to make a realistic effort to undertake a successful attempt of the Strait of Öresund.
